Rapeseed Wax: Our Sustainable Choice

We use sustainable rapeseed wax to pour our scented candles. This natural ingredient comes from Europe and does not contain any genetically modified or dangerous substances. In addition, it is free from animal products and has not been tested on animals.

Rapeseed wax has many advantages: it has a small ecological footprint, contributes to the ecosystem and burns much slower than paraffin. This means you can enjoy the wonderful scents of our candles for longer.

Soy Wax and Beeswax: Our Considerations

Although more and more candles are made from natural wax , we consciously chose rapeseed wax over soy wax and beeswax . Soy wax has a larger ecological footprint due to the long distance it has to travel to reach the Netherlands and the overproduction that leads to desertification.

Additionally, we avoid beeswax due to its non-vegan nature. With rapeseed wax we have found a vegan alternative that is not only environmentally friendly, but also burns excellently.
