FIK's sculpture candles are both playful and elegant with their round shapes, unique textures and striking retro colour palette.

Part of a series of original design sculptures, this contemporary candle is guaranteed to be a real eye-catcher in any room. As they burn longer, the ribbed texture creates an elegant lantern effect.

We pour our original sculpture candles in small batches from sustainable rapeseed wax in our own candle studio in Apeldoorn.

The sculpture candle may drip. Always place this candle on a suitable trivet.

We recommend burning the sculpture candle for a maximum of 3 hours at a time.

Each candle is unique, so small imperfections and differences may occur due to the use of our natural rapeseed wax.

Natural wax

To pour our scented candles, we use sustainable rapeseed wax. This is a vegetable and renewable raw material for pouring candles.

The rapeseed wax we use comes from Europe and does not contain any genetically modified or hazardous substances. Nor does it contain any substances derived from animals and it has not been tested on animals.

Sustainability with vegetable rapeseed wax comes not only from its small ecological footprint and contribution to the ecosystem, but also from the additional advantage that it burns much more slowly than paraffin. As a result, your scented candle will take up to twice as long to burn up.
FIK Tips
  • Cut the wick to 1 centimeter before each use. Do not place a burned-out match, ash or other materials in the candle wax.
  • Always place the candle in an upright position on a non-flammable coaster that is large enough to catch any dripping wax.
  • We recommend not burning the sculpture candle for more than 3 hours at a time.
  • Make sure that the edge of the candle wax does not become too high for the sculpture candle. Cut off the edge when large pieces of candle wax may fall.

We believe it is important to use packaging made from recyclable materials for our candles. For example, materials that are easily biodegradable, can be included in an organized recycling process, or materials that you can also reuse at home, such as our glass jars.


When the scented candle has burned out, you can use the glass jar again to plant small cuttings or as a storage jar for small parts. Use some warm water and a degreasing dish soap to remove any remaining rapeseed wax and labels for reuse.

With a view to sustainability, we pack the scented candles as compactly as possible for shipping. In principle, we ship all the candles you order together in one box. Would you like to give (part of) your order as a gift? Then you can tick this next to the article. We will then ensure that we pack it separately and that there are no shipping labels on this box.


If you cannot use the shipping box again, it can be disposed of in its entirety with the waste paper - without filling chips. The following also applies to the biodegradable filling chips: Reuse is great! But if you cannot use them again, they can be thrown in the organic waste.

At FIK Kaarsen we do not see "sustainability" as a trendy marketing concept or some kind of green tick that you can request somewhere. We believe it is important to use sustainability as a condition and basis for a young company. We want to make the right considerations and good choices for the candle making process, packaging and shipping.


We are therefore critical of our raw materials. For example, we do not simply assume that 100% natural is always the most sustainable choice and that less harmful raw materials are also good for both people and the environment.
