Well-considered scents ensure that all our scented candles have a subtle and unique character.

FIK Candles are unique scented candles. We pour these by hand from sustainable vegetable rapeseed wax and various subtle scents.

But because there is no smell internet yet, it can be quite difficult to choose which scented candle suits you. Or maybe you just want to try out the new collection!

With our FIKjes this is no longer a problem. With this set, you choose 3 small scented candles of 25 grams yourself. This way, you can discover our unique and subtle fragrances at your convenience, without having to buy a larger scented candle, because that will last you for a while!

In addition, the Sample Set is of course very nice to give as a present! Would you just like to let the recipient choose which fragrance they like? Then this package is ideal!

TIP: This scented candle size is also very suitable as a Travel Tin! Take your favourite scented candle in compact form with you when you travel!

We send the Sample Set FIKjes in a letterbox box. So you benefit from lower shipping costs and you don't have to stay at home to receive the package.

Natural wax

We use sustainable rapeseed wax to pour our scented candles. This is a plant-based, natural and biodegradable raw material for making candles.

The rapeseed wax we use comes from Euorpe and does not contain any genetically modified or dangerous substances. In addition, it does not contain any substances derived from animals and has not been tested on animals.

Sustainability with vegetable rapeseed wax comes not only from its small ecological footprint and contribution to the ecosystem, but also from the additional advantage that it burns much slower than paraffin. As a result, it takes twice as long for your scented candle to burn out.

FIK tips

  • Place the candle on a fire-resistant surface.
  • Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Never leave a burning candle alone
  • Close the candle with the corresponding lid after each use so that the scent is best preserved.

We believe it is important to use packaging made from recyclable materials for our candles. For example, materials that are easily biodegradable, can be included in an organized recycling process, or materials that you can also reuse at home, such as our glass jars.


When the scented candle has burned out, you can use the glass jar again to plant small cuttings or as a storage jar for small parts. Use some warm water and a degreasing dish soap to remove any remaining rapeseed wax and labels for reuse.

With a view to sustainability, we pack the scented candles as compactly as possible for shipping. In principle, we ship all the candles you order together in one box. Would you like to give (part of) your order as a gift? Then you can tick this next to the article. We will then ensure that we pack it separately and that there are no shipping labels on this box.


If you cannot use the shipping box again, it can be disposed of in its entirety with the waste paper - without filling chips. The following also applies to the biodegradable filling chips: Reuse is great! But if you cannot use them again, they can be thrown in the organic waste.

At FIK Kaarsen we do not see "sustainability" as a trendy marketing concept or some kind of green tick that you can request somewhere. We believe it is important to use sustainability as a condition and basis for a young company. We want to make the right considerations and good choices for the candle making process, packaging and shipping.


We are therefore critical of our raw materials and raw materials. For example, we do not simply assume that 100% natural is always the most sustainable choice and that less harmful raw materials are also good for both people and the environment.
